Dunollie Castle is situated just on the northern outskirts of Oban on the west coast of Scotland. These ruins offer spectacular views overlooking the northern entrance of Oban harbour.

The 1745 House at Dunollie is a new museum and cultural centre including the renowned Hope MacDougall Collection, a fascinating social history collection drawn from throughout the Highlands and Islands. It has exhibitions and a range of activities for all ages. Open from April. Admission charge (free for children under 16). Guided tours are available. Woodland trails. Telephone 01631 570550. For full details visit the official site: www.dunollie.org

The Clan MacDougall Gathering will be held at Dunollie in August 2014.
