The Internet Guide to Scotland

Snow-covered Ben Wyvis as seen from Inverness, the Scottish Highland capital

December 1998

Ben Wyvis stands over 3000 feet high and is located a few miles to the north of Garve in Easter Ross.
The following photos were taken of the scenic views in May 1999 during an ascent of the mountain.

Looking over Loch Glascarnoch, the tooth-like ridges are those of An Teallach,
as seen with zoom lens from the slopes of Ben Wyvis

The summit of Ben Wyvis (3429 feet) as seen from the summit of An Cabar (3106 feet).

If you want to climb Scotland's mountains in a group with an experienced leader, then I recommend the companies on my Outdoor Activities Page
