Take the Road to the Isles Online Tour

During the summer you can take The Jacobite steam train from Fort William past Ben Nevis, over the Glenfinnan Viaduct and along the Road to the Isles all the way to the fishing port of Mallaig. It usually stops for a while at the Glenfinnan Station Museum.

Dates of operation:

Morning Service (departs Fort William 10.15am tbc):
Monday to Friday from 14 May to 26 October 2012
plus Saturdays and Sundays - from 23 June to 26 August.

Afternoon Service (departs Fort William 2.30pm):
Monday to Friday from 4 June to 31 August 2012.

Hot and cold drinks and cold snacks are available on the train, plus train souvenirs.

Bookings:
Tickets must be purchased in advance from the train operator. The Jacobite Steam Train is operated by the West Coast Railway Company in Lancashire (England). To book tickets, please telephone: 0845 129 0977 or 01524 732100 or book online.

You can stay and dine at Glenfinnan Station
